Spelling Bee Queen

It is hard to believe I contributed any genetic matter to a kid who could win a school spelling bee. I never made it out of the classroom for one of those things. The picture above was taken after winning her school spelling bee. The bottom picture is from the district spelling bee held on Jan 14th. Our district includes jr. high schools so she was bumped out pretty quick. Aubrey is one smart kid. I have warned the older children they will be working for her when she takes over the world.

  1. Forrest says it skips a generation or some times two. You can tell she must carry some of grandma's dna though. Also saw the post on wrestling. Forward a schedule need to get Grant watching some matches.

  2. I think Forrest is right but one time asked grandma how to spell something. She made me ask grandpa and said he was the real speller. Mom tells a cute story of grandpa in a spelling bee. So maybe the kids get some kind of super gene from them.
Wrestling is almost over. No more matches until state in two weeks. Which is held in Tucson. He is planning on wrestling in high school. So when that starts I will let you know.

  3. I love that the next generation can spell. But I think Aubrey has super spelling powers. Way to go Aubrey!
